Location: LCBC West Shore, Mechanicsburg PA
Hours Commitment: Full-time hours (40 – 45 hours/week) desired, but will consider candidates interested in part-time hours (25-28 hours/week) with regular weekend responsibilities.

Purpose Statement: To lead and support kidMinistry in a way where Life Change happens, One Kid at A Time. The heartbeat of your role involves inviting others to serve by vision casting how lives can be changed while keeping Jesus at the center of all you do.

  • Can articulate an identifiable salvation experience and lives out a pattern of spiritual development and regular participation at LCBC.
  • Supports LCBC's vision, mission, priorities, philosophy of ministry, and doctrinal statement.
  • Supports LCBC's core values: We focus on others; we commit to excellence; we work with intensity; and we live authentically, knowing that life change is a journey.
  • Displays a winning attitude and a spirit of cooperation; communicates truth with grace; prays about everything; and has a willingness to serve on a team.
  • Has a passion and desire to grow, develop, and mature, both spiritually and professionally, as a person and leader for God's glory.
  • Be an LCBC Partner or willing to become a Partner within 60 days of employment.
  • Strong organizational management skills to lead kidMinistry with excellence.
  • Strong communicator who listens well and inspires others into action.

  • Complete ownership and ability to execute all kidMinistry programs, operational systems, processes, and guidelines.
  • Responsible for implementation of kidMinistry at LCBC West Shore.
  • Engage in advancing ministry by continually sharing vision of what we do and believe.
  • Uphold kidMinistry's 5 values: Kids, Families, Relationships, Serving, and Safety.
  • Drive growth for kidMinistry attendance for both kids and volunteers over previous year.
  • Understand and maintain a +60% volunteer-to-kid attendance by monitoring weekly.
  • Understand and maintain a 75% vs. 25% adults/students serving ratio by monitoring weekly.
  • Have visible presence of connecting with families on the weekends.
  • Develop new leaders by embodying, utilizing and executing a Lead Small Culture.
  • Identify and grow a volunteer(s) to be the primary replacement leader(s) for your position, someone to do your job.
  • Empower and release kidMinistry leaders, delegating to others to be the Church.
  • Support the LCBC West Shore Team in the development of the local church community.
Personal Development:
  • Strive towards personal development and advancement within LCBC.
  • Complete and work towards achieving an annual Action and Development Plan.

The West Shore kidMinistry Director will meet regularly with the West Shore Campus Pastor for planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed 3 times throughout the year.
