Role: Expansion - Administrative Assistant PT
Reports to: Director of Expansion
Location: Central Office, LCBC Manheim, Manheim, PA
Hours Commitment: 15 hours per week 

Objective: To provide a high level of administrative support to the Expansion Team so they can enhance LCBC’s ability to be even more effective in introducing people to Jesus and seeing more lives changed by Christ. The Expansion Team's primary responsibilities include new site selection/property acquisition, site/building design and construction, the entire new location launch process, financial stewardship and advancement/donor relations activities and church relations.

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Basic computer/software savvy - abilities to embrace, learn, adapt to and utilize digital tools well.
  • High level of professional approach to administrative details.
  • The ability to maintain absolute confidentiality while performing certain projects and tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Expansion Team and specifically the Director of Expansion in their administrative activities related to:
    • Investigating, collecting, analyzing data and utilizing analytical tools to assist with new location development and determining potential future sites for LCBC locations.
    • Assist with the process of searching for and securing properties that will be purchased or leased for future LCBC locations.
    • Assisting with the administrative aspects of real estate related projects for existing locations.
  • Support Advancement activities related to giving leaders including on-going connections, events and new initiatives to strengthen relationships and continually appreciate this group of donors.
  • Assist with the organization, planning and execution of events, meetings and initiatives related to our mission to serve, coach, train and resource pastors and church leaders throughout Pennsylvania.
  • Learn and become proficient in the use of software and databases that support various Expansion activities. Software includes Google Suite, MortarStone, Red Booth, Rock, and Microsoft Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Develop and complete various reports that inform and influence decision making.
  • Manage various projects that produce meaningful outcomes.
  • Develop and prepare effective presentations for internal and external purposes.
  • All other administrative tasks and activities including team travel arrangements, meetings, calendars, registrations, etc.


The Expansion Administrative Assistant PT will meet regularly with the Director of Expansion for planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
