Role: Central - kidMinistry Programming Coordinator
Reports to:  Central - kidMinistry Programming Director
Location: LCBC Central Office, Manheim PA
Hours Commitment: 40 hours assigned per week with some weekend responsibilities

Purpose Statement: To lead kidMinistry in a way where Life Change happens, One Kid at A Time. To support the creation and delivery of kidVenture Island's teaching series for kids ages 2 through 4th grade.

Responsibilities

Leadership:
  • Be an advocate to advance content development to make kidMinistry successful.
  • Develop new leaders by embodying, utilizing and executing a Lead Small Culture.
  • Identify and grow a volunteer(s) to be the primary replacement leader(s) for your position, someone to do your job.
Ministry:
  • Supports the creation of teaching series for Oyster Bay (2's), Treasure Cove (3-5's) and Pier (Kindergarten-4th grade).
  • Assist in the development of all materials for campus programming starting from creative brainstorming to the distribution with a concentration in video.
  • Creation of video materials for each of the age groups, including the kidWorship content, Teaching content, Roll-in transitions, Transitional elements, Games, Still images, VIP and Training Videos (Weekly, Monthly, and Strategy content).
  • Creating the content that engages kids and prepares kids for small group conversation.
  • Identifies special strategies and media elements to keep large group programming fresh and keeps kids excited about inviting their friends.
  • Researches new, fun and innovative ways to teach kids about Jesus through digital media.
  • Occasional attendance of kidMinistry programs to evaluate the effectiveness of what is created.
  • Maintains the organization of video content in storage areas.
  • Duties as assigned by the Programming Director.
 

Evaluation:

The Central - kidMinistry Programming Coordinator staff member will meet regularly with the Central - kidMinistry Programming Director for personal development, planning, goal-setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed 3 times throughout the year.
