Position: Manheim Connections Cafe Manager PT
Reports to: Manheim Office Manager
Location: LCBC Manheim, Manheim PA
Hours Commitment: 25 hours per week (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 3 weeks/month -- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 1 week/month)

Objective: Oversee and manage the operations of the cafe and works closely with volunteers and staff. Serving others with a Christ-like heart.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Volunteer Coordination - recruit, train and lead volunteers; maintain volunteer schedules; volunteer appreciation; learn the Rock Church Management System.
  • Inventory - inventory and order cafe food, paper supplies, coffee, etc.; inventory and order for All Church closets; order for ministries as requested; place order with John Gross, Lancaster Coffee, Human Kind, etc.; shop for food at local stores.
  • Cafe Management - clean and organize cafe, catering kitchen and stock room on a weekly basis; restock; laundry; prep food items as needed for the weekend; create weekend menu (soups, sandwiches, pizza, etc.).
  • Manheim Team - Work with Manheim location team on projects and events as needed; work with Manheim Retail Manager on additional needs.
  • Meetings - Attend Manheim Huddle every Monday; attend All Staff Huddle every other Tuesday; meet with Retail Manager every other Tuesday (non All Staff weeks); attend Manheim/Central Retail lunch once a month; attend LCBC-U quarterly.
  • Central Retail - Assist with Corner Connections on All Staff Tuesdays; assist with church events and LCBC-U; assist with miscellaneous projects as needed.
Evaluation:
  • The Manheim - Connections Cafe Manager PT will meet regularly with Manheim Office Manager for planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
